We love to hear from our neighbors!

We make a point of being out in the community, and we want to hear from you. You will see us at events such as Neighbor Support Night, Fort Lauderdale Cares Day, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and Water Matters Day, and you might see our Green Your Routine car around town. Even if you do not catch us in person, there are many ways that you can contact us about sustainability in our city.

Be-on-the-Lookout-smWE NEED YOU! To report illegal dumping and other violations of environmental law, contact our Environmental Crimes Unit through our 24-hour Customer Service at (954)-828-8000. To report broken water lines, open hydrants, downed trees and other urgent issues use Lauderserv or contact our 24-Hour Customer Service at (954) 828-8000.

ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
Questions, thoughts or ideas about this website From any particular page, click the [+] Feedback button on the top right to generate an email that will go to our webmaster to be forwarded to the page author. If you have general comments about the entire site, send us an email at webmaster@fortlauderdale.gov.
To request your event to be added to our calendar  Our usual practice is to list on our calendar only events which the city runs, sponsors or participates in, however we will make exceptions when there is a compelling benefit for our neighbors or when the event is a nationally recognized celebration. You may make your inquiry to our Sustainability Coordinator via email. Please include the following event details: event name, date and time, full location address, producing company or organization, contact name, phone number and email, event admission fees, and a copy of the event invitation or flyer if there is one.  All listings are at the discretion of the City of Fort Lauderdale and can be removed for any reason at any time.
To add your organization to any of our directory listings Throughout this website we offer helpful listings for our neighbors. These include information about solid waste haulers, holiday tree nurseries, charitable organizations accepting donations, urban farms and community gardens, electronics recyclers and more. Our aim is to provide information that helps neighbors complete their own research. We are not able to offer endorsements of private organizations. If you would like your organization's contact information added to one of these pages, please check the criteria for submission on each page and provide that information by clicking on the [+] Feedback button on the top right of the page in question. Your information will be sent to the appropriate Sustainability Division staff member for review and verification. Please note that this may take several weeks.
