NEIGHBORHOOD CELEBRATION

Middle River Terrace Park | 1329 NE 7th Avenue
Join the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Middle River Terrace Neighborhood Association for the Old Dixie Highway Complete Streets Project ribbon cutting ceremony and neighborhood celebration.
The Old Dixie Highway Complete Streets Project is a community-driven, grassroots effort that represents the City’s and our neighbors’ vision to implement Complete Streets enhancements on Old Dixie Highway to create a safer, more connected community for people walking, biking, and driving. This project also underscores the City’s commitment to Vision Zero Fort Lauderdale, which is our street safety action plan designed to reduce traffic deaths and serious injuries on our streets to zero.
Traffic calming and safety improvements for this project include new bike lanes, a roundabout at NE 16th Court, new sidewalks on both sides of the street, improved drainage, reduced speed limits, and enhanced pedestrian lighting.
