The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting a public hearing regarding proposed street median changes related to the Wave Streetcar Project. The proposed changes are to construct a median station platform along S. Andrews Avenue at the intersection of S.W./S.E. 13 Street and concrete medians at the intersections of Rose Drive, S.W./S.E. 11th Court, S.W./S.E. 10th Street, and S.W./S.E. 8 Street. The Public Hearing, which starts at 5:30 p.m., will be conducted as an informal open house and includes a formal presentation starting at 6 p.m., followed by a comment period. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to Robert E. Bostian, Jr., PE, FDOT Project Manager, 3400 W. Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309. All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before Saturday, January 28, 2017, will become part of the Public Hearing record.
