The City of Fort Lauderdale is offering neighbors a convenient and responsible opportunity for disposal of hazardous waste, electronics, clothing and household goods. Unwanted items will be collected at a drop-off event at Mills Pond Park from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Household hazardous waste (HHW) includes common household items that contain toxic chemicals and therefore need proper handling during disposal (paint, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs, etc.).
