Move Broward event encourages community to voice their opinion on issues surrounding
walking, biking and using public transportation

Move Broward is a fun, family event to promote active living. The YMCA of South Florida wants to encourage the community to get moving – whether it is walking, biking or using public transportation. Share your feedback from the community on the experience of using these different modes of transportation when commuting to work or recreational activities.

Move Broward will feature something for everyone to do, including interactive health and transit stations, food, dancing and giveaways. Henry the Hamster will make a special appearance to read books to young children.  Come and find an Active Older Adult health empowerment program near you!  Strut your stuff along the walking path and join a GirlTrek Superhero walking team and walk to heal, walk to inspire and walk to reclaim the streets!  Visit www.girltrek.org
