Join the City of Fort Lauderdale and commit to protecting our oceans, beaches, and waterways by reducing use of single-use plastics.

The first 200 businesses in the City of Fort Lauderdale to take the pledge will be recognized as Greening Edge Leaders. They will receive a More Flavor, Less Plastic window cling to display at their business and recognition on the City’s website!

Eliminate plastic carryout bags

Eliminate plastic and polystyrene cups and lids (prohibited on City property & in City facilities)

Eliminate plastic and polystyrene take-out containers (prohibited on City property & in City facilities)

Eliminate plastic utensils and coffee stirrers

Offer an incentive for customers with a reusable cup, mug, bag, etc

Spread the word with signage encouraging patrons, customers and guests to reduce single-use plastic
