Drop Savers Poster Contest
In celebration of Drink Water Week which is celebrated each May, The City of Fort Lauderdale has partnered with the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association to bring you an exciting chance to mix your knowledge of water conservation and creativity with our Drop Savers Water Conservation Art Contest! This contest challenges students in grades K-12 from all schools in Fort Lauderdale to design a poster to promote awareness and the importance of conserving water!
Previous winners, along with their families and their teachers, attended Fort Lauderdale City Commission meetings and were publicly recognized for their achievements. They were also presented with T-shirts with their winning designs printed on them, a gift card, and a commemorative plaque.
The first place winners’ entries from each grade category were submitted into the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association’s statewide competition.
