The City of Fort Lauderdale oversees 90 parks with over 900 acres of green space, and we have plans for more. Our goal is to offer every neighborhood a convenient, safe and accessible space to enjoy nature, relax, exercise and socialize-- all free of charge. At the same time, our parks can help us to reach sustainability goals for offsetting emissions, increasing our tree canopy, adding wildlife habitat, removing invasive plants, reducing soil erosion and managing stormwater.
