Hauler Information and Forms

The City of Fort Lauderdale supports an open market for solid waste collection at commercial and multi-family buildings. A license is required for haulers to offer services. These services are governed by Chapter 24 of our City's Code of Ordinances.

Interested providers should print, complete, and submit the Hauler License Application & Agreement to the City of Fort Lauderdale. Complete instructions are on page 2 of the application. The application fee is $25, plus $1.00 for the agreement fee. Monthly franchise fees are detailed within the agreement which includes a form for calculating and reporting those fees.

Once your application is accepted, and a signed agreement is on file, your company's information will be added to our List of Authorized Haulers. Agreements which adhere to standards are for a three year term. This same application can be used for renewal.
